Lucence is a professional signage partner to our clients, which include well-known brand names such as Superdry and Radley London. It’s important to us that all aspects of our business reflect our brand values of quality and attention to detail, and so we’ve committed ourselves to pursuing ISO 9001:2015.
Quality business management
This standard assesses the quality of our business management, reviewing the procedures and processes which help us to deliver a seamless customer experience to those we work with.
In particular, the ISO assessment looked at our purchasing systems, sales, how we quality assure our work and any organisational risks presented by our business. Each aspect is intended to protect us as a business as well as those we trade with and, of course, our customers.
Preparation and internal review
Our team has invested considerable time over the last few months in ensuring that Lucence operates to ISO standards. We had a great starting point, backed by our understanding and experience of working with large organisations, and we’ve fine-tuned our processes to ensure we’re working in line with ISO expectations.
As a small business, established for three years, we wanted to invite external scrutiny of our organisation. As a team we’re happy with our progress and how we operate, but we wanted to pursue ISO for the reassurance that we’re doing things right.
Our recommendation for certification has given us a fantastic boost. Increased business confidence and our ship-shape processes and procedures have given us the firm foundations we were looking for to allow us to continue to grow in the future.
