Ordering, Delivery & Account FAQs

Yes. We work with sign businesses, shop fitters, retail brands, agencies and architects. We offer a confidential service for all our trade clients.

Before you can order with Lucence online, you need to apply for a trade account with us. Once approved and logged onto our system, you’ll be able to order and upload artwork online.

Once you have an account set up with us, you’ll be able to place your order. Here’s what happens next:

  1. You’ll need to supply vector artwork and full specifications for your order, including sizes, dimensions, the type of product and your chosen colours
  2. Let us know whether you need an express order for faster manufacture and despatch
  3. We’ll be in touch with full signage drawings and a quote by the end of the next working day
  4. Once your order is confirmed, we’ll send you estimated dates for manufacture and despatch
  5. We’ll manufacture and fully test your order, then deliver it to your designated address

Yes, samples are available. Contact us to discuss what you’re looking for.

On receiving your order, we will send you a quote for the project. Once approved, we will start to manufacture your product. We aim to despatch all products within 15 working days of approval of the quote on standard delivery.

Express manufacture and express delivery options are available. Please specify when you are placing your order whether you require an express option. Once you have placed your order, we will contact you with a quote for your project.

We need to receive:

  1. Vector artwork in either .ai, .eps or .pdf format
  2. All relevant sizes and dimensions
  3. Type of product (face-lit, edge-lit, halo or neon effect)
  4. Your chosen colours for acrylics and LEDs
  5. Paint finish colours specified by reference to RAL colour code
  6. Any specific fixings requirements
  7. Your delivery address
  8. Whether you require an express manufacture and/or express delivery option

You need to open a trade account with us before placing an order.

We will produce a technical drawing based on your artwork and specification. This will be supplied by email with our quote for your product.

Yes, we can work with any fonts or styles. We have a minimum stroke width of just 10mm.

Shipping is made via our approved overnight courier service.

Trade account customers receive 30-day payment terms. All orders must be placed through an approved trade account, and 50% of the order value is payable in advance on placement of all first orders. All orders thereafter are invoiced on delivery.

Product & Specification FAQs

LEDs are embedded in acrylic, which has been cut and shaped in-house by our team, and are then encapsulated in thermal insulating resin.

Our embedded LED signage system has been designed and created for a brilliant result. Here’s how:

  • Our products’ minimum stroke width is just 10mm, with no maximum width
  • We use more LEDs per sign than other products on the market, meaning that our signs are brighter and contain no dark areas regardless of their size
  • We only use the highest-quality materials including quality acrylics, resins and electrical components that are made to last
  • Our embedded LEDs use an LED series (or chain) system rather than LED light tape, meaning that Lucence products don’t get hot, they consume less power and ultimately cost less to run
  • Our products are IP65-rated as standard, meaning they can be used inside and out

Lucence uses the highest-quality acrylics, metallics, LEDs and other materials to manufacture our LED signage products. If you would like to discuss individual components or to find out more, please contact us.

Installation & Aftercare FAQs

All materials are supplied to enable Lucence signs to be successfully installed onto panels or other surfaces. Signs are supplied with an installation kit, containing a transformer, fixings, connectors, locators and wiring. Plugs are not supplied, as the transformer allows signage to be connected up to the property’s internal circuits.

Yes, fittings and locators are supplied. See our technical and installation guides for more information, or contact us to discuss.

Our products are supplied ready for wiring and installation by site teams. We do not supply products with plugs ready-wired, so your onsite installation teams will need to handle this. Lucence does not accept responsibility for the failure of products caused by faulty wiring or installation.

Our acrylic signage, finishings and LEDs are fully guaranteed for 2 years upon delivery of your order. Power Supply Units are guaranteed for 1 year. Lucence does not accept responsibility for faults in products caused by errors or faults in wiring, installation or maintenance by onsite teams. Products damaged by shipping will be replaced.

Customers are advised to carefully check their artwork prior to sign-off. Lucence is unable to replace products free of charge where colours, artwork or specifications supplied by you are incorrect.

Lucence signage is easy to care for and maintain, requiring only cosmetic cleaning. Domestic dusters and polish do the trick!
